DIY How to Make Powerful Police Taser - 4 Simple Components

This is a quick tutorial on how to build a powerful homemade taser or stun gun that could generate up to 400,000 volts (400 kilovolts) which could potentially hurt someone badly. The project is very easy to make without few components and minimal soldering skills required.

Note: Please be reminded this is not a device to make a prank to taste how a taser feels like neither it should be used to make funny videos. Always be careful when using the taser and not for the weak heart to be stunned by the high voltage arc. Ask your local counsel if it is legal to own a taser. This is just for educational purpose and I am not responsible for your actions or any harm it may cause.

You will need the following component

1. High voltage generator (400,000 volts Transformer)
2. Two pins plug
3. 18650 battery holder (3.7 Volt)
4. Momentary press switch.

Tools and Materials needed:

1. Solder iron
2. Solder coil
3. Electrical tape
4. Hot glue gun

Firstly cut the excess wires from the high voltage transformer to a reasonable length - then solder it to the 2 pins plug to make the prongs. Once that done you can either screw the plugs to the transformer to grip it tight or you can use a glue gun to stick it at the end. After that adjust the prongs to make it closer to one another about 2 cm or a little bit more. This will make up the high voltage spark prongs.

Secondly, use a glue gun to attach the 18650 battery holder to the input end of the generator - leave it few minutes to cool down before proceeding. This allows the glue to harden and stick stronger - when the glue holder sticks firmly to the transformer then use the electrical tape to wrap around it where the glue was applied. This is to ensure that the battery holder sticks firmly tighter and not wiggle around.

Thirdly get a solder and solder the one pin of the push button switch to the positive of the battery holder wire. Then solder another pin of the switch to the positive wire of the transformer. Use the electrical tape to wrap the wires around the transformer to prevent it from messing around and make it looks neat. Then solder then negative cable of the battery holder to the negative of the voltage generator.

The stungun is ready to fire - just plug in 18650 battery into the battery holder and push the switch button. You can hear the loud snap noise as a proof of how powerful it can be. If it refuses to fire adjust the tips of the prongs to get a little closer to one another - and if it still persists check all the cable connection to ensure it is correctly soldered to the right wire terminal of the high voltage transformer.
