Start by spraying the back of the iPhone case with a generous amount of spray adhesive. Next, place and position the back of the case facing down in the center of the desired fabric pattern and firmly hold it in place for about 30 seconds to let the adhesive set. After the adhesive has set, spray the sides with the spray adhesive and pull the fabric over all four sides of the case and use the fabric's stretching ability to work out any wrinkles or imperfections. Wait for about 1 minute for the adhesive to set, then set it aside to dry. Cut excess fabric to about 1/4 inch from the edge of the case. Next, spray the adhesive into the paper cup until there is fluid in the cup, then use Q-tips to dip and brush the edges and inner-sides with adhesive. Lastly, stretch the remaining fabric over the edges and on to the inner-sides, then set it aside to dry.

First, use a utility knife to carefully cut around the edges of the camera and button holes, leaving about a 1/16 inch excess from the edge of the holes. Brush adhesive around the edges of the holes using Q-tips. Next, pull the excess fabric through the hole and adhere it to the inner-surface. Then set it aside to dry.

Start by cutting the outline of the instructables robot logo and website text out using scissors. Apply adhesive to the edge of the cut-outs to keep the fabric from fraying. Lastly, spray the cut-outs with adhesive, then place them centered on the case. Now the DIY instructables robot iphone is finally finished. You can also use this same case making technique for other electronic devises like: smartphones, tablets, mp3 players, ect.

Enjoy!
