Break Off Nub of Ornament
Remove the top nubs of the ornaments by bending them back and forth until they break off
Glue the Fairy Lights Into Ornament
Glue half of the fairy lights into half of an ornament. The last light should be right at the edge. Then pull the wire into the other half and glue the rest of the lights into the other half with the first light at the edge.
Glue on Fabric
Cut the black sequin fabric using the ears template and glue them onto the ornaments. You may need two layers if you want it to be less see-through.
Cover Headband in Fabric
Use the headband template to cut the black sequin fabric. Glue it onto the headband.
Glue Ribbon to Headband
Cut the ribbon, fold over the edges to make sure they're smooth, and glue onto the inside of the headband.
Make the Bow
Cut an 8x11 inch rectangle out of the red sequin fabric and a scrap piece that is 1inch by at least 3 inches.
Shape the bow:
- Fold it long ways from the bottom part way and then fold over the top so they overlap a bit. Glue it down.
- Fold the sides in and glue it down
- On one side, fold the fabric backwards, holding it in place until the glue dries.
- Then place glue on top of the fabric in the middle and fold it back towards the center
- Hold it in place until it dries.
- You should now see the bow taking its shape.
- Repeat the process on the other side
Attach ribbon
- Fold the scrap piece long ways from the bottom part way and then fold over the top so they overlap a bit. Glue it down.
- Wrap it around the bow and glue in place
Glue on the Ears and Bow
Glue the ears onto the headband.
Wrap the wire and glue it down with the battery pack on top. Make sure the battery pack has the screws on top so you can change out the battery in the future.
Glue the bow in front of the battery.
