Maxi Skirt in 5 Easy Steps

These maxi skirts are sooooo easy to make and in a few easy steps and an hour and a half of spare time, you can have one of your own. If you're anything like me, you'll have several of your own within a short span of time.

Fold fabric, pin pattern (McCall's 6966) to the fabric on the fold, and cut. You will be doing this twice.

This will give you two identical front and back pieces. Pin, then sew the sides together.

Cut and press your waist band.

Attach your waistband.

Base stitch your zipper into place before machine sewing it on and hem the bottom.

And... that's it... enjoy your new maxi skirt.
