DIY Pvc Pipe Clarinet

In this instructable you are going to learn how to make a very simple PVC Pipe clarinet.

Materials

PVCP Pipe about 2 inches wide

One clarinet or recorder mouthpiece

Drill

PVC Pipe Cutter

Cutting the PVC Pipe

Cut the PVC Pipe so that it is about 15 inches.

Measure the Holes

Measure so that the holes are about 1-1.5 inches apart.

Drilling the Holes

Make the holes so that you can change the sound. You want to make 7 holes in total. Six holes in the front and 1 hole in the back. The one in the back is pretty much directly behind the top one in the front.

Finding the Right Mouthpiece

To find the right mouthpiece you need to measure your mouth and see what you want. You can also add another piece to try and make the sound lower.

Playing

To play find which notes makes it lower and which notes make it lower.

Try Different Things

You can play different songs or even create different notes and add more notes.
