DIY Remote Control Halloween Pop Up Anamatronic

Take two of the 2 feet long pieces of wood and the 3 6 feet long pieces of wood and screw them together like in the photo, make the base out of 2, 2 feet planks and two 6 feet planks

Flip the bottom frame upside down and add the 3rd 6 ft wooden plank and screw it in in the middle in between the long pieces of wood and add the .8 ft piece of wood in front of the 6 ft plank as a stopper and screw it in the same way but using two screws. Drill hole two feet behind the upright 6 ft wood plank and insert bolt

Take the car door lock actuator and screw it down onto some plywood and connect to the remote control relay as in the pictures except instead of a light connect to the car door actuator ( if the car door actuator won’t move try flipping the green and blue wire on the actuator )and snip off the barrel jack of the 12 v power converter and connect to relay as power source.

Simply copy to the photo of the mechanism you will need the plywood with the actuator on it and two springs and two pieces of plastic and mount onto the frame using a screw through the plywood into the frame so that the piece of plastic that sticks out is just before the bolt on the frame

Simply cut off the try me button of the anamtronic and strip the remaining wires and extend them with wire to the point where the wire can touch the ground. hang up the animatronic by putting a screw into the top of the upright wood plank and using string to wrap around the body of the animatronic and tie it to the back of the Woden plank in my case I used chain Connect the animatronic wires to two screws located as in the photo so they make contact when the remote control is pressed

attach the Bungee cord using two screws on each attachment point one side of the bungee goes on the arm that holds the grim reaper and the other goes 2.5 ft infront of the grim reaper to keep the grim reaper down tie two loops on a piece of string and attach one end on the arm of the system and the other looped around the bolt and to pair the remote with the relay plug the 120 v end of the converter into a outlet and the relay should have a green light press and hold the black button for 5 sec and release then press the top button of the remote to trigger it press the button again to reset the prop push the piece of plastic that’s on top of the bolt back to its original position and re - loop the string around the I have submitted this instructable to the halloween
