DIY Shoebox Ribbon Holder

Items You Will Need

  • Utility knife or grommets
  • Shoebox
  • Thumbtack
  • Ribbon
  • Washer
  • a wooden rod

Decorate Your Shoebox

Decorate your box, so that it doesn't look like it normally does. You can paint it or use fabric or color it, whatever you want.

Cut Some Holes for the Washers

Next, garb whatever you are using to cut your box with and cut as much holes as you want in the front of the box, big enough for the washers to fit in. I only cut four holes for the washers. After you get the holes big enough, glue the washers in the holes for the ribbon to fit through.

Add the Your Wooden Rod

Next, cut two tiny holes on bot sides of your box. Then add your ribbon on the rod. Then push your wooden through till it is pointing out both ends. Then add thumbtacks at both ends, so that if it moves, it won't fall out.

Now Use It!
