What You'll Need

For this bracelet you will need styrofoam to use as a working board, with pins you will secure strings while you work, measure the size of your wrist, scissors and lighter for finishing and here I have used 1 mm wax string. You can use any kind of string, but for the jewelry is the best to use wax string, because of its texture that's kind of sticky, will not be stretched, you can not rip it off, and it's easy for finishing because you just need to burn it a little bit, and it will hold in place.

Prepare for Tying Knots

Take one string around 30 cm long, and pin it 7 cm from the top. At that point put another string long 150 cm bellow the first one just few cm to the right and pin it close to the first one.

Half Hitch Knot Over Holding Cord

In "Half hitch" knot is important that you always have holding cord, (in this case vertical string) and working cord (horizontal string). Holding cord will lead where the direction of knots will be, and working cord is the one that you make the knot of, and it will slide on holding cord to the place where you want to finish it.

First one is where your working cord is going over the holding cord, then under the holding cord and pull trough the loop on the left side over itself. Tie it all the way up to your starting point, and repeat it 3 times.

Next one is where your working cord is going under the holding cord, then over the holding cord and pull trough the loop on the left side under itself. Tie it all the way up.

Combine one of each of these two knots to your desirable length.
