Fill Ur Bottle
Disolve a teaspoon of Vegimite, in a cup of boiling water.
Leave to cool.
The only thing that attacts more flies and for longer is the fly lure from www.wildmay.com, just found vegimite is more easily accessable, but if your really keen to kill most of the local fruit fly population, i'd really recommend trying this!
See attached picture
P.s. Eventually the Fruit flies lose interest in a week or so thats when its time to empty the dead flies and refill the bottles. Guess the dead flies scare em...

Hang It Near Your Fruit Trees
Make 2 holes in the cap, and thread a string through.
Then tie the string which makes a loop or tie it to the tree.

Catch the Flies
Sit back and enjoy that your fruit trees are now nearly fruit fly free.
No Pesticide on your fruit or plants is necessary!
And watch the flies enter and drown..
Muhahahahahahahaha
Here's a picture of what a few second later looked like for me.
Occasionally refill, and get rid of dead flies..
Easy..
They recommend 4 traps per hectare, but i have 6 around a townhouse garden..
