DIY Christmas Tree Project
If you’re bored with traditional styling and want something alternative and original for this year’s Xmas, we created a 3D printed Xmas tree using the Joints and Wires plugin in our free VECTARY 3D editor
What you need:
- 3D printer or 3D printing service to 3D print joints
- Wooden sticks
- Saw
- Measuring tape
3D Print Joints
Download the joints for free and 3D print them.
We used a Zortrax M200 3D printer and ABS filament. If you don’t own a 3D printer, you can always use 3D printing services such as Shapeways to order a 3D print.
The tree is made of 2 types of joints.
You will need 5 pieces for the trunk and 18 pieces for the twigs.
Get Some Wooden Sticks of Different Sizes.
