You will need:
-A soda can
-a nut that fits on your tripod
-scissors
Cut the Can
Cut off both sides of your can, be careful of sharp edges. You will end up with a tin tube, cut it down the middle so and make it flat.
Bending the Tin
Bend one side almost an inch over twice to make it into a triangle.(you will put the bolt there later) Then do the same to the other side but leave it folded over.
Attaching to the Tripod
1)Poke a hole under the triangle. 2)Open up the triangle an push the tripods bolt through the hole and 3)screw on the nut, 4)fold the triangle back over to cover up the nut.
Finish
You now have a cheap and easy to build tripod mount for your ipod or phone. You may want to hold your ipod to the mount with a rubber band as shown. Also I know the ipod shown is a 2nd gen. and doesn't have a camera but I used the 4th gen. for the pictures. This is my first instructable please comment below if it was helpful and for any tips.
