How to Make Decorative Light for Xmas and New Year Celebration

I used CFL bulbs to make this but you can use any kind of bulb for making this.

This is very useful for decorative things and occasions and festivals such as xmas and new year eve.

you can use it anywhere depends on your thinking , I used for my sister birthday.

I got 3 faulty CFL bulbs in my storerooms.

Open CFL bulbs from joint shown in figure.

You will find a PCB inside it which is not useful for us . But we need some components of it.

It surely have 4 diode which is useful for us and reuse a electrolytic capacitor

and there should be two capacitors of 400V (voltage rating may be different due to manufacturer)

Make a bridge rectifier using 4 diode.

If you don't know how to know ,plz see the above

Solder anode of electrolytic capacitor to the junction where cathode of 2 diode meets(red wire shown)

and cathode of electrolytic capacitor to the junction where anode of 2 diode meets(blue wire shown)

Connect 68k ohm resistor to the junction where the red wire shown in image and connect anode of 1st LED to it .

Connect 2nd LED anode to 1st LED cathode and connect 2nd LED cathode to junction where cathode pin of electrolytic capacitor soldered to 2 diodes .

Connect two 400V capacitor in parallel and connect one end of capacitors to one of junction of two left

Two juction left of which one is connected to capacitor as I said above and other one is connected to AC voltage wire ,and capacitor has a left pin which goes to AC wire . Circuit is now completed !!

Break the CFL tube and place LED's in that .

place everything inside and close the cap carefully.

If you are worried about internal short circuit, then fill the space between components by hot glue gun sticks.

Just PLug in 220v supply and enjoy the colorful bulb

You can use it for any festival
