Delicious Literal Raspberry Pi(e) With Cryptic Mathematical Recipe
Calling all Raspberry Pi enthusiasts and geometry loving bakers! Solve the recipe, and then treat your tastebuds to this delicious 6-ingredient raspberry pi(e)!
(Don't worry; if you want to just make pie without doing the calculations first, I'm including the answers to the math problems in Step 5.)
Supplies
Crust:
-(3.14)/(2.512) c. crushed pretzels
-1^2 sticks melted butter
-2/6 c. sugar
Filing:
-.5 c. corn starch
-(3.14)/(6.28) c. sugar
-(3.14)/(4.71) c. water
-√16 c. raspberries
Grease Pie Plate; Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees Fahrenheit
Combine Crust Ingredients; Press Into Prepared Pie Plate; Bake at 350 for 10-12 Minutes
(If the crust is not moist enough, add 1 tablespoon - 1/3 c. water as needed before baking)
Make Filing
Mix corn starch and sugar thoroughly, and then incorporate the water. One this mixture is smooth, pour over raspberries (mine were frozen, but fresh should work) in a saucepan and cook over low-medium heat. Bring to a boil and continue to cook until gelled and no longer pink but a beautiful red. (Stir continually.)
Once the Crust and Filing Have Cooled Slightly, Pour Filing Into Shell and Freeze for 2 Hours or Until Set
(Optional) Serve With Whipped Cream
