My Delicious Strawberry Creamcake

Hello and welcome! This is the perfect place for you, if you are planning on baking the yummiest strawberry cake ever! Not only does it taste amazing, but it is very visually appealing as well! :) Please enjoy the following recipe and feel free to also check out the video I made. :)

What we will be doing:

Mix together: Eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla extract, baking powder, and oil.

Switch on your oven to 160°C Fan

Take the mixed ingredients and pour into the round cake form

Put it into your pre-heated oven

Leave it in the oven for 30 minutes

Get out your Raspberry cream

Mix it together with cold milk

Put into the fridge for about an hour

Get your cake out of the oven

Wait for it to cool down

Once it has cooled down, take a knife and cut into the sides of the cake - all the way round

Get a piece of string, and pull it through the cake, creating two parts

Remove the top half of the cake and let it cool down by the window

While you're waiting, get the strawberries, wash them, and cut off the green parts

Put a metal holder around the bottom (which is actually the top) part of your cake

Grab the cream out of the fridge and put it onto the cake

Even it out on the cake

Put the top half (the original bottom) into the cream

Get your whipped cream

Put it into a beaker

Add vanilla sugar

Mix it with a mixer

Spread the finished whipped cream over the top of the cake with a spatula

Cut all your strawberries in half

Arrange them on the whipped cream, in a circular format

Remove the metal holder

Place the finished cake onto a nice plate

Serve :)

Put Oil Into the Cake Form and Pour in Cake Mix

Here comes the easiest step of them all! Simply put some oil into the round cake form, and then put in the cake mix. Don't do it too quickly.

Put the Cake Into the Oven

Now, make sure to heat up your oven to 160°C Fan (Remember, this may differ from oven to oven). Leave your cake mixture in there for about half an hour.

Create Your Raspberry Cream

IMG_3245.jpg

I'm afraid I didn't make my own raspberry cream this time, but I did get a very nice cream mix from Edeka and I suggest you do the same. It takes less time and tastes just as good!

In my case, I had to pour in 250 ml of cold milk into a beaker. Then, mix well with the powder from the packet. As soon as that has been done, put the cream into the fridge for about an hour.

I know it may seem weird to create a raspberry cream, when we are creating a strawberry cake, but trust me, it tastes amazing! There is a sort of... pop to it!

This raspberry cream will be put in the middle of the cake.

Cut the Strawberries

The next step is to cut the green parts off of the strawberries. Try cutting closely around the green piece, so that you don't cut off too much of the strawberry. Once you have done that, wash the strawberries well.

Get the Cake Out of the Oven

IMG_3249.jpg

Another easy step. As soon as your cake is ready, open up the oven and let your cake cool for just a few minutes. Then get it out.

Cut It in Half

Once the cake has cooled down somewhat, cut into the side of the cake with a knife. Go around the cake in a circular motion. Once you have done that, get yourself some string and place it where you cut into the cake. Pull it through the cake in a slow and careful motion, so that you don't break anything. This way, we are creating two cakes.

Let It Cool

btohpartsonwindowsill.jpg

Once you have cut the cake open, you will realize that it is still very hot. You now need to separate the two parts. This is a little tricky, please be very careful because if you are not, the cake might break, especially since it is still warm.

After that, the best thing is to place both parts of the cake near your open window and let them cool down. While you are letting you cake cool, you can glance out the window and enjoy all the spring flowers! :)

The Raspberry Cream

When the cake has cooled down, take the top part of it and place it on a nice plate. Then, take a cake ring (as seen in the image) and place it around the cake. This will help none of the cream to go anywhere, except for on your cake.

Grab the cream out of the fridge and put it onto the cake. Once you have done that, use a spatula to even it out.

Place the Second Part on Top

The next step would be to place the second part of the cake on top of the cream. Place it on top, with the original middle part facing you, this way it will be easier to decorate it with whipped cream and strawberries. :)

Whipped Cream

Now grab your whipped cream and a packet of vanilla sugar. Mix the whipped cream and then add the vanilla sugar. (Yes, use the entire packet!) Mix until it has become nice and thick.

Even it out nicely onto the cake until it looks perfect. :)

Strawberries!

Finally come the strawberries! Personally, this is my favorite part. Apart from eating the cake, that is!

Grab the washed strawberries and cut them in half. Take these halves and place them on the cake in a circular format.

Enjoy!!
