Desired Room
I decided to make my desired room, even though it's my desired room, I feel like a lot of individuals can relate with the desired size. Many individuals would want a bigger space to ether feel more comfortable or fit all their needs, but this is most commonly not the case in many households especially in the Chicago area. Therefore I wanted to represent a common desire in Chicago by making my own desired room.
My so called small space made a big impact, seeing as my small space exposes the influence it has on an individuals. For example a small space can affect comfortability or influence negative thoughts to specific individuals or a big space can cause comfortability and lower stress on certain individuals or vise versa considering on the individuals desires. I hope my small space can show this and impact future houses by keeping in mind an individuals comfortability and needs.
Supplies
When I started I wanted to create a comfortable and a at home atmosphere so I decided to use popsicle sticks to represent a sort of cabin, but I couldn't forget the kitchen appliances outside my room so I used tin-foil over the popsicles sticks to represent a fridge and a garbage bin so it can be apart of a house not just a house. Furthermore I couldn't forget the windows for a great view, a desk for homework, work or studying and lastly a pant to represent responsibility. The colors I added made the atmosphere even better as most rooms are a basic white due to cost of paint being so high now in days.
Fusion 360
First I decided to make my design on fusion 360 to set up my future design as I was still picking the desired furniture and desired colors as well as size.
Glue Time
After creating the design on fusion 360 I started gathering all the necessary supplies and began putting everything together.
Painting
Lastly after putting everything together I used acrylic paint to add definition to the walls to make the walls look like cabin walls to add to the atmosphere.
