Desktop Water Dispenser

Do you get annoyed of always walking to the sink to get a glass of water? Then make our useful DIY of a desktop water dispenser! Follow the instructions and you can get your own!

What You Need

You need a empty Pringles container, empty Nutella/peanut butter jar, glue stick, coloured/white paper, glue gun, straw, empty tooth pasta tube, knife, and nail clip scissors.

Step 1

Trace the lid of the toothpaste tube on the top of the Pringles container.

Step 2

Cut out the drawn line.

Step 3

Cut out a curved area under the round hole. Make sure your glass can fit in the hole.

Glue your piece of paper around your Pringles container.

cut out the same shapes. Because the paper covered them.

Cut through the middle of the empty tooth paste. Throw side without lid in the trash and clean out the rest.

Cut strips from the tube, but not all the way. Stop at the hard plastic part.

Use the glue gun to put glue on the ends of the toothpaste strips.

Now glue the toothpaste tube into the round hole in the Pringles container. Make sure the side that the toothpaste usually comes out from is sticking out of the hole.

Draw a line on the centre on the side of the jar lid.

Draw 2 dots on top on the same line as the line on the side of the jar. They have to be 3 cm apart.

Cut out the 2 dots you made.

Put the straw through one of the holes on the jar lid.

Then put the lid upside down on the top of the Pringles container, and put the other end of the straw through the toothpaste tube.

Take off the lid carefully and glue the straw to the lid with the glue gun.

Put the lid back on the Pringles container and put the straw back through the toothpaste tube. Glue the straw to the toothpaste tube so that, that stays put.

Cut off the extra bits off the straw which are sticking out of the toothpaste tube.

Screw the lid back on the toothpaste tube.

Glue the lid to the Pringles container using a glue gun.

Fill the empty jar with your drink and turn the Pringles container upside down to screw it on.

Flip your complete desktop water dispenser and put a glass in the hole at the bottom. To make it work turn the toothpaste lid gently. Make sure not to turn it off completely. NOW YOU ARE DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
