Detective Pikachu Drawing - Watercolor Painting Process

In this Instructable I will show you how I painted Pikachu from Detective Pikachu.

Watercolors, watercolor pencils, white gouache, cotton paper.

I start painting base colors of Pikachu using yellow, brown, purple.

I after first layer dried, I added red for the cheeks and black for the ears.

I also layered brown and purple to increase contrast between light and shadows.

Once paint dried, I painted hat, paper cup and background.

I waited until paint dried and then I started drawing details of the fur and the eyes using watercolor pencils.

I used white gouache to draw highlights, and various details.

I removed paper tape and that's it :)
