Docking Station for Your Phone
I designed a docking station for a phone which can also be used as a phone case.
Supplies
You will need a Computer and Fusion360.
Make a Sketch of Your Design
Sketch out your design to see what it will look like.
Create Sketch
Step 2: Sketch
Click on create sketch and sketch out a rectangle with a height of approximately 146.7 mm, a width of 71.5mm and then you are going to extrude it to a depth of 7.7mm.
Create Second Sketch
Step 3: create second sketch
Create a second sketch of a rectangle right over the first one but make it slightly bigger, make it 3mm bigger on each side
Extrude
Step 4: Extrude
Extrude your second rectangle to 7.7mm and the extrude your first rectangle back to 1mm
Fillet
Step 5: Filet
Use the filet tool and filet all the corners from both rectangles to 5.5mm so that the corners are curved
Dock
Step 6: Dock
In the middle of your rectangle sketch another rectangle across with a length of 7.7mm. This will be the docking station for your phone. Extrude it down to 0 mm so that it appears as a hole.
Camera
Step 7: Camera
On the upper left corner create another square about 30 by 30 mm and then extrude it out to make a whole. Then use the fillet tool to filet all the corners to 2.5mm.
Appearance
Click on modify then appearance and select a material/color for your design.
Render
View your final product.
