Dollar Bill Origami: Shirt & Tie
This amazing Dollar Bill Origami Shirt and Tie is simple and easy to make. I will show you step by step how to make it with pictures. I hope your origami shirt comes out as good as mine did.
First you are going to need an ordinary bill. It can be any bill. I used a 5 dollar bill for this tutorial.
First, fold your bill in half then fold it out again.
Then, line up the corners with the middle crease.
Then, fold that triangle down.
This is where it gets a little tricky. You have to fold the triangle in such a way so that you end up with this tie shape that looks like it is on top.
Then fold the sides onto the middle line. Then fold the tie so that is outside the folded "shirt".
Flip the bill over and fold a little tab on the top, this will be the collar.
Turn the bill around and bring the corners to the middle crease to fold the "collar".
Flip the dollar back over and fold the bill in half so that the collar almost touches the tie.
Fold the collar out again and fold it back so that you get two "sleeves" poking out the sides.
When you turn the bill around it should look like this.
Fold the collar up again so that you get this.
Then slowly fold up just the collar so that it looks like the picture.
When you flip your bill around you should have the collar in the back. Put the collar on top of the tie and you will have your very own Dollar Bill Origami Shirt & Tie!
