Hi I'm Maverick12 and this instructable will explain how to make a simple door wreath useful in all seasons.

Supplies

I'm using a wooden wreath I found at a craft store.

Then I have several fake flowers, hot glue and glue gun, a letter, and some ribbon.

Trim the Flowers

First, trim the flowers. I cut mine approximately 2 inches from the base of the flower. This provides enough length to anchor the flower in place.

Next, place the flowers (without glue) into the wreath. I pick a spot and guide my remaining stem into the branches of the wreath. Doing this without glue allows you to review the overall look of the wreath.

Glue Together

Once you are satisfied with the layout you can remove the flowers, remembering their placement. Starting with the flower in the center, run a bead of glue down the length of the cut stem. Quickly place this flower into its correct placement in the wreath. Repeat for your remaining flowers.

Then, add glue to the back of the letter you have chosen. Place the letter onto the wreath and press firmly down. I'm using a silver G I found.

To Hang

My front door does not have a hanger on it, so I had to create one.

First I took a 3M hook and placed it upside down at the top of my door. I like using 3M products because they are easy to remove and leave little residue behind.

Next I cut a piece of ribbon about twice the diameter of the wreath. Then I wrapped the ribbon around the wreath and the top and tied a knot in it.

Hold the wreath on the front of the door and pull the ribbon with the knot over the top. Hook the ribbon onto the hook and you're done!
