Double Barreled Rubber Band Shotgun

this is my double barreled rubber band shotgun design. It’s a more intricate design than my other 2 designs so I hope you can follow along just fine. I’m sorry I couldn’t take pictures as I built it to make it easier, because I made it before I found this site so it may be tricky to build sorry.

half inch aluminum tube 17” long x2, a lot of jumbo and regular craft sticks, sturdy wooden clothes pins,rubber bands x2 big rubber bands x2. As far as tools go you’ll need scissors and a HIGH TEMP hot glue gun.

this is the most complex part of the mechanism because it is the mechanism lol.any way it’s basically this: a clothes pin attached by the top to a small roof where there’s to cut craft sticks attacking another roof of craft sticks which has another clothes pin attached by top.on the bottom of each clothes pin there is a trigger attached. If built correctly a small push of the front trigger will open the bottom clothes pin. A harder longer pull will open both. I hope this made sense as a tried my best explaining this part. If you get this wrong please keep trying until you get it because the other parts are much simpler I promise. Sorry.

the stock is built around the COMPLETED reciver system so please have your step one completed before moving on here. It’s very customizable and you can do this however you want as long as the gap between the barrels (step 3) and the end of the clothes pin is at least 4.74 inches. Or the projectile will not be propelled. The bigger the gap the better the propulsion you’ll get. Use the picture for reference building this as I’m quite to lazy to explain myself. Sorry.

the barrels should be 17 or more inches long. But the longer than 26 “ as it will slow the projectile. The barrel should be stacked on top each other. Than you should make a cover on the rear end of the barrels to attack to the stock. This will require some fiddling and you won’t get it first try (I sure did not it took me 12 try’s) but you will get it with some patience. If you get it than you can freely attach and detach it when ever. Now slide 2 rubber bands between the the barrels whilst the barrel is disconnected and bring the rubber bands to the receivers (one rubber band per chamber) than load the rubber bands into the clothes pins and put to pens (longer than the gap) down the barrels (one per barrel) if done correctly you should get a shot from both trigger pulls. I hope you can succeed in making this because it’s quite tricky.
