Dragon Egg

MATERIALS

1. Plaster of Paris [500 grams]
2. Water [half in volume]
3. Sandpaper 600, 1000 grit
4. Aluminium foil
5. Toothbrush
6. Polymer Clay [300 grams]
7. Printed eyes
8. Transparent adhesive tape
9. Disposable spoon
10. Epoxy resin
11. Vaseline
12. Viridian acrylic paint
13. Burnt umber acrylic paint
14. Brush
15. Sianna powder pigment
16. Burnt umber powder pigment
17. Black powder pigment
18. Foam
19. Super glue
20. Craft knife
21. Empty Plastic bottle
22. Balloon
23. Pencil

1. Put the Plaster_of_paris and water in an empty water bottle and shake well.
2. Quickly inflate the balloon (60% to 70%).
3. Pour the mixture into the balloon and do a knot.
4. continuously move a balloon until Plaster of paris becomes hard.(Usually it will takes 7 to 15 minutes).
5. Remove the balloon.
6. Rub the knot mark with sandpaper to make it smooth.
7. Make a crack like hole with craft knife.

1. Put aluminium foil on egg and rub toothbrush on it to get a mark.
2. Take a piece of polymer clay of marked foil size.
3. Draw eye socket and mouth on it.
4. Cut round piece from another egg and wrap aluminium foil on it.
5. Put clay on it and draw scales with pencils.
6. Put it in aluminium tray and cover with foil and bake for 1 hour at 275 degree.

1. Print eyes on photo paper.
2. Cut them and put transparent adhesive tape on both side.
3. Roll eye on round screw driver or on some pen to give it a nice bend.
4. Prepare epoxy resin and fill half in disposable spoon.
5. Wait for 5 to 6 hours and then put eye on it.
6. Again prepare epoxy resin and fill rest of the spoon.
7. Wait for 24 hours and then take it out from spoon.
8. Cut excessive part around the eyes.

1. Fix eye on socket with polymer clay and again bake it for 15 minutes.
2. Take Viridian acrylic paint dip brush in it and rub it on some paper and then paint it on clay.
3. Take burnt umber acrylic paint and do same.
4. Put the dragon face in egg and fill it all with foam.
5. Fix the broken part with superglue.
