Drip Irrigation Using Pet Bottle
Use a pet bottle to feed your plants:
1. Make a small hole on the bottle cap using a safety pin.
2. fill the bottle with water and put the cap on.
3. Invert the bottle and push it gently in the flower pot or in the garden.
4. This will keep the soil moist for a few days, even when you are gone on holidays for a few days or should you forget to water the plants when you are busy.
5. This concept can be applied to water pipe / tube at every 10 feet or so, if your garden is "long" ! (Arrange inverted pets at every 10 ft on water pipe like saline drips on patients in the hospital. puncture the tube so that it feeds the pet bottle at the (inverted) top ! ;-D )
Hope it was useful.
