Drip Installation DIY
This new and simple instructables for the construction of an early version of an automatic drip irrigation for some flowers food housed in the underside.
It's a very simple system based on material recovery for most, but it works well, although it is subject to some improvement.
the Support
But let's move to the operational phase without losing any more time.
I used as feeder support a saucer equipped with circular wheels, in which I placed awooden plank suitably cut to fit perfectly into this saucer. With 3 wood screws I fixed to the axle, in a central position, a former a table leg(recycling and reuse), and then I set the horizontal axis to saucer with two screws.
...fixing...fixing....
At this stage I've created support for the bottles-water tank, using a piece of wood, recycling, too, where I practiced three holes as shown in the figure that they mightattach to the vertical support and in order to accommodate the overturned bottles.
The holes are 6 cm in my case, but it is obvious that must be adapted to supportmeasures and the bottles. Then I fastened with two screws in support to an appropriate height.
...The Plant
I started to change bottles, primarily by cutting the bottom of both.
I run a forum for each exact size cap of tube that is 5 mm measurement. Each bottle feeds two jars, through a "T" fitting the same pipe size (these are the only things that I bought). To create a drip feed I used for the final part of each tube "things" that you see in the picture: serve to curb water; Initially I had tried with wool wire inserted into the hose (which still works) but then, having found among my daughter plays these things Iused to my purpose. Since I have the metal core, can be inserted into the pipe that enough to get thedesired amount of water.
...finished.
In the video you can see how it all works.
The thing is to improve a bit, but it works perfectly even so, and even if you need apower "manual need" is a step ahead of the innaffitura snapshot that is missing a good 50% of the water poured into it can soak up in the right time that the land requires. Thank you for your attention and I am waiting for a comment and/or advice. Good Instructables at all ... Torx
