Drive Traffic to Your Website With a Giveaway!
There are 3 factors to a successful website. Traffic, content and motivating an action from your viewers. In this instructable we will go over a strategy to motivate your viewers by giving them a free book that you created. I will show you how to execute this strategy by using a scenario for each step.
Scenario : Get more users to sign up to my baking mailing list. Once they are signed up covert them to a paid subscriptions.
1. Create a website.
Example based on scenario: A web baking blog with recipes and baking strategies.
Advice: When creating a website always remember to keep it simple. Make a website that is relevant to your niche and well laid out. It should be clear to your viewer what you want them to do.
2. Create an account with Blurb

Advice: Make your book as well researched and relevant as possible. If people feel they received useful information from you for free, they will be more willing to buy a subscription to your mailing list in the future.
4. Create a Call to Action on your site
Example based on scenario: Create an awesome banner telling everyone about my free give away and mailing list. Place my call to action banner in a prime location on my site.
Advice: Location, Location, Location! Placement is super important, make sure you place your banner next to or under content your viewer is already there to see. Placing a banner those spots will get their attention.
5. Print and Ship Book as promised
Example based on scenario: I get an email notifying me that I get a new subscriber. Print and ship book to them using blurb.
Advice: You can do this one of two ways. You can print a large amount of book and ship them yourself or you can print the book and ship the books one at a time depending on your volume.
Happy Marketing!
