Duct Tape Convertible Window Fix- Cheap & Easy
This instructable will show how I replaced the rear window on my 2002 Toyota Solara convertible with only a clear plastic sheet and lots of duct tape!
The rear window of my convertible shattered and in lieu of shelling out big cash on replacement and the installation fee, i opted for the cheaper route- clear plastic and duct tape.
This solution is very economical, easy enough that anyone can do, and takes around 10 minutes from start to finish.
I cut a large piece of clear plastic sheet- I didn't measure it- and I duct taped the hell out of it, both inside and out, it was that easy. This has lasted a month so far- it even withstood Hurricane Irene!
Not only does it lock out the water, it locks in the freshness!
