Duct Tape Pinwheel Earrings

In this Instructable you will learn to make Duct Tape pinwheel earrings. My friend was inspired to make these because she broke a pair of cheap earings and was left with earring poasts, so she made some stylish earrings for free!

What You Will Need

You will need...

-A loaded hot glue gun
-Duct Tape
-Scissors
-Earring Posts
-Earring Backs
-Tiny rhinestones ( optional )
- Glitter Glue ( optional )
- Craft Tools (Tweezers, clay tools, etc.)

Cutting the Tape

Cut about six inches off the Tape.

Folding and Cutting (Again)

Fold the duct tape in half so the length would be about 3 inches. Then cut in half. Then trim it to your liking.

Making the Pinwheel

Cut towards the center of your square, where the silver circle would be on ours.

Folding and Glueing

This is your last chance to trim. Once you fold it you will see how big the earring will be. Put a dot if glue in the center. Then put the left corner of every piece or every other corner in the glue. Or where the silver dots are. Basically every other piece.

Decorating

You know those optional rhinestones at the beginning? This is when you use them. Glue them to the center where you glued the pieces. Also at your glitter glue wherever you wish. This step is not mandatory and can be skipped.

Putting the Earing Backs On

This step is as simple as it sounds. Put a dot of glue on the back and put the post on.

Finally Enjoy!
