Duct Tape Toms

Hi! In this instructable I will be teaching you how to make comfy custom fit Toms! This project took me half an hour so make time to finish. Good Luck!

You will need

• Scissors
• Multiple types of duct tape
• Cardboard
• Marker

Take a shoe that fits you well and trace it onto the cardboard do the same with the other shoe too. After you have finished tracing cut the shoe souls out.

Tape both of the cut out souls front and back with the duct tape.

Create two sheets of duct tape fabric by double siding four pieces of 1 color of tape on the front and four pieces of the other on the back. Once you have done that cut off all of the excess tape on the sides to create a squareish shape.

Tape 1 sheet of the fabric to the area about 3 inches from the toe. Then curl the sheet over your real toes and tape down as shown in picture 2. Tape the excess on the end of the toes down so it forms something like a slipper.

Take a strip about 8 inches and put another of a different color on the back. Then you should take a piece of tape about an inch long stick it to the bottom edge as shown in picture 3 and then stick it to the edge of the 8 inch strip we made earlier. Follow that step until you have made the heel of the Tom. Repeat this whole process to make the other. Its optional to add flair like I did for example stripes on the toes.
