Easy BBQ Deep Dish Pizza Pie

I love Pizza, who doesn't?

This method was inspired by the classic French dessert, Tart Tartin, which is cooked upside down and inverted onto a plate for service.

I wondered if a similar method would work for pizza and it works out it is a great way to make deep dish pizza!

Supplies

Bread Dough

Mozzarella Cheese

Tomato Pizza sauce

Garlic Crushed

Salami

Olives

Chopped Chilli

Sliced Onion

I start with some cheese then add Salami, Tomato Pizza sauce, Chillies, Onion, Olives and more cheese.

Add whatever ingredients you want, there are no rules!

Put a Lid on It

I just use a bread dough I've made from a packet.

Make a disc just a little bigger than your bowl and drape it over the top

BBQ Time!

Preheat the BBQ to 180°C (356°F)

Place the bowl on the BBQ and spray with water. The water will help make the surface of the bread crust golden and crispy

Close the lid and cook for 20 minutes
