As a kid I loved making these easy and fun to make bracelets.

I hope this instructable will create some fun memories for you like making these bracelets did for me!

To begin we prepare the materials needed to create the bracelet.

In order to do this we will need thread and scissors.

First, we cut 6 pieces of thread.

All of the pieces should be the same length. The length can be determined by wrapping the thread around your wrist twice and adding 3-4 cm.

Fold each piece of thread in half and tie all six of them together by making a knot at the side with the loose ends.

Tape the end with the knot to a flat surface. Alternatively, ask a friend to hold the knot while you’re making the bracelet.

The next steps should be repeated until only 3-4 cm of the thread is left:

  1. Move the thread on your right forefinger to the pinky on the left hand.
  2. repeat step 1 with your left hand.
  3. Transfer the thread from the middle finger of your right hand to the forefinger of the same hand, then the thread on the ring finger to the middle finger and finally the thread on the pinky to the ring finger.
  4. Repeat step 2 with your left hand.
  5. repeat steps 1-4.
