My mother in law introduced me to this awesome, easy awesome way to whip out a cute, super yummy ,easy cut out cake every Easter, she made one for her kids every year and now I make them for our family as part of our Easter traditions .....

What you will need:

For the batter:
White Cake mix
10- 12 teaspoons of butter ( yes)
1 and 1/4 cups of milk ( whole or 2 %)
3 eggs

NOTE: do not prep the mix like it says in the box with oil and water, in order to get awesome buttery , crumbly homeade ish tasting like cake that's sure to impress you have to use butter , milk and eggs, I promise this will make a HUGE difference in consistency and taste in your cake.

Preheat your oven at 350 degrees, now in a nice clean bowl add dry cake mix , 3 eggs, milk and butter, mix with a fork , this aerates the mixture better , mix at a medium speed for 2 minutes, now grab two 8 or 9 in round cake molds , pour mixture in the cake molds , pop in the oven,

8" molds 29-34 minutes
9" molds 25-30 minutes

Wait 10 minutes to cool , now Leave one cake whole , the second cut half moons on each side , leaving a piece in the middle as a bow tie.

Now frost , traditionally this would be covered in unsweetened coconut for fur, but this year my son opted for simple frosting , here you can go crazy with frosting, color, candy, chocolate any things game as long as your having fun . And your done!!!!! Easy, fun and fast to make !
