Remove Failed Prints From Fep Photon Mono X

When i've jumped into resin 3d printing, like the most of us, i've got some failled prints sticked to the fep, and it was trully a nightmare so remove every little bit from the fep. I want to share with you the method i use to remove failed prints from the fep a little more efforthless ;) sorry but in the picture ins't very noticeable the debris, but they are there..

Exposure All the Bottom

After a failed print, let the resin sit a while to settle the debris on the bottom, 1 hour sould be enough.Expose all the bottom (25s photon mono x, 45s photon mono s).

Filter the Remain Resin

While this method is very efficient, doesn't mean that is 100% bulletproof, and some debris could escape from the sides were the resin isn't cured.

Lifting the Layer

With the back of your nail (gloves on!), run it gently next to the edge pressing it, at this point you probably see the layer starting to peel from fep, work it all the way gently to get some leverage to pick the cured layer.

Conclusion

Maybe there is a better method out there, and more economical , but i preffer do the leverage on the corner that in the middle of the fep .. ptfe lube is a must have too ! Hope this help someone!
