Remove ONE of the ends of the cotton bud - just rip it off

Melting
Using your lighter, melt the cotton bud tube LIGHTLY so it is mouldable. Mould the tube around the needle to prevent it slipping backwards into the tube or falling outwards.
Complete!
your new blow dart should look like the image shown. Fluffing the other end will make a better fit in the tube. This is where tape may be needed as some times the end falls off. Just wrap some tape around it again. I coloured the needle black simply because it was difficult to see with a white background. You may want to colour it simply for the look?
Insert the needle into the tube blowing from the tail end - the cotton tip. Practice may be necessary to get accurate with these tings but they are good fun. Playing on a dart board with these is a good way to get better. Distance however is all determined by the individual. Harder the blow the further it will go. Tube length is another decision up to the individual. The longer, the more accurate but more air will be needed to force the dart out.
ENJOY!!
