Easy and Quick Nigerian Sandwich

Sandwiches are always a delicious and simple breakfast option. This one is a Nigerian recipe and it is not like the American sardine sandwich, which includes cream cheese and other toppings.


Also, this breakfast sandwich can be made in under five minutes by anyone. In addition to the speed and ease of making it, it is also fun to make.

Supplies

Main Supplies:

  1. Sliced bread
  2. Butter
  3. Sardine (canned)


Other Things Needed:

  1. Knife
  2. Plate
  3. Small bowl

Mix the Sardine and Butter

Pour the content of the sardine can into a bowl and add two teaspoons of butter. Mix the sardine and the butter together using a spoon or something else. Ensure that there are no lumps of butter anywhere in the mix.

Spread the Mix on a Slice of Bread

After the mixing, spread the mix on a slice of bread.

Cover With Other Bread Slices

Place another slice on top of the slice that has the mix. Do this for as many bread slices as you want.

The sandwich is done and ready for consumption. You can slice each sandwich into two using a knife as shown in the attached images.


The whole process took less than five minutes and the result is a delicious sandwich. You can modify the quantity of butter you add to the sardine to get different results.
