Easy to Make Catapult
This Simple Machine is used to fling relatively small objects such as bottle caps and erasers
Supplies
10 copsticks/popsickle sticks
5 rubber bands
1 small metal spoon
1 bottle cap
Step 1
Stack 8 chopsticks on top of each other and put 1 rubber band on each side
Step 2
Put 2 other chopsticks inbetween the first 2 chopsticks and the second 2 chopsticks
Step 3
Place spoon on short end of chopsticks and put ad rubber band around the end and go over it with the same rubber band
Step 4
Wrap your final rubber band around the wide end of the spoon for extra grip on the object you’re catapulting. The catapult works best with bottle caps, quarters, and erasers.
Once all of the steps have been completed place your type of ammunition onto the rubber band around the large part of the spoon, pull down the large part of the spoon creating tension, and release to watch the ammunition fly.
