Eating Table for a Car
Eating in a car can be a difficult task because of how inconvenient and uncomfortable it can be to eat in your car without something spilling or dropping on your carpet floor. But with this newly improved product, you can eat comfortably in your car without having to use your legs to support your food. So I came up with this newly improved solution based on the idea of a retractable table in your car that holds your food( this model is based on an on-shape scale).
Supplies
For this product you will need the following supplies to make it. First you will need a website to make the design which in my case I used Onshape.com. than you need wood, any wood that is water proof like oake wood, after you will need a hinge so the material can be bent together.
Part 1 Base Build
Make a sketch and make a square about 4' inches in height, with a width of 1' inch, then extrude 0.12' inch, and you should have the starting base. After, on the corners, make a sketch, and from bottom to top, the corner should be.205' inch, and from the corner to the right, it should be.16' inch. And make an angel from both ends of each angle to make an arch about.266' inch. And the same goes for each corner.
The Hinge Build Process
Turn to the back angle and measure from the center of the side to the center of the circle, which is.177" inch, and from there, make a circle about 0.125 inch and another circle from the same center about .094' in.After that, you will need to extrude the circle about.8 in. Then that little part that is shaded needs to be removed, so you extrude, but this time you will need to remove it about.8 in.
Hinge Build Full
On the top of the hinge, make a sketch and make a square using the corners of the top of the hinge. and make two sides about.145' in, with the height of both sides being.123 in, and extrude and remove the middle part about.34' in depth. There will be a little piece left. Make another sketch on it, make a square around the corners from both sides, and remove it with an extrude about 1.5' in depth.
Part 2 Base Build
Make another part of the studio and sketch out a square about 1' and then 2' in height. Extrude it about 12' inches. After that, make a sketch of the extruded square on the back side on the left, and then make a circle that is.12' in length away from the center of the square, and the circle is.94' inch. From the square's center, make a line that is.025', and from both ends, attach it to the circle. Extrude the part about.8' inches.
Cutting the Hinge
Now we make another sketch on top of the extruded part and from the corners we make a line that is .145 in height and connect it to make a square and repeat that for the other side and extrude those parts and remove both sides.
Final Cut
Cut the top two sides from the start, about .244' and the other side the same. From the same sides and corners, make a line to the bottom about. 16', and the arch is from the two ends of each side, and that would be. 266' of an angle, and repeat that for the other side. Then extrude and remove the angels from both sides, and that should be it. Also, after that, assemble it with the other part, which would be part 1.
