Equality Cupcakes: Baking and Frosting

Learn how to make multicolored cupcakes and frosting to go along with it!

If you own paper sleeves you can place them in the cupcake pan. If you do not own any you can spray the pan with non stick spray.

Mix as many or as little boxes of store bought cake mixes with the ingredients it says to on the directions on the back of the box.

Put enough bowls to compensate for the amount of different colors of batter you want and put as much or as little of the food coloring colors your using into the bowls.

You can use a spoon or a measuring cup of 1 cup, and scoop one scoop into each bowl of coloring until your out of non colored batter.

Take a spoon or fork or whatever you wish to use and mix each bowl of batter separately until the coloring is fully and evenly distributed throughout the batter.

You can use a spoon to scoop a little into each one until the batter has been evenly distributed, you can layer your colored batter over each other if and how you wish to.

Put them in the pre-heated oven and let them bake for 12-17 minutes and if you have extra batter you can repeat these steps until there is no left over batter.

If you used paper sleeves remove the cupcakes from the baking pan and let cool for 10 minutes before frosting or eating. If you did not have papers sleeves to use wait at least 15 minutes to remove them from the hot cupcake pan.

You can buy any brand of white frosting to mix with your coloring. If the frosting is not white the coloring wont show.

You redo step 3 for how many colors of frosting you wish to have. Then you just have to scoop as much frosting into the the food coloring as you wish and mix until it is evenly distributed.
