Ernest's Get Well Soon LED Card
Make a LED paper circuit plus pop-up "Get well soon" or other greeting card!
Supplies
- Paper
- Colour markers
- Glue Stick
- Chibitronics copper tape and LED stickers
- double-sided tape
- scissors
- Battery (3V)
Create Pop-up Folds
Create 2 parallel folds: 1 for the bed, and 1 for the door.
For the parallel fold of the door, cut a hole on one side and add a flap as the door to close and open to reveal the message and the bed.
Add Designs to Your Card
Add drawings such as flowers, birds, clouds and tree to make it more colourful
Make a Parallel Paper Circuit
Draw an outline of how you want to paste your copper tape to make a parallel circuit.
Use chibitronics copper tape to follow the outline and add in your LED stickers after you complete the copper circuit.
Add a 3V battery at the corner of the paper circuit and make sure it connects to the the other end of the circuit.
Paste Paper Circuit Behind Pop-up Greeting Card
Paste paper circuit behind your pop-up card. Secure the battery with double sided tape. Your card is completed.
