Supplies
- Generic PLA filament
- 1 16x2 Arduino LCD display
- 1 Arduino Nano
- 1 Potentiometer
- 1 220Ω resistor
- 1 Switch
- 1 Push button
- Assorted Wires
- 1 Circuitboard cut to size.
- 1 charging module for Micro-USB
CAD
The first step is to CAD three pieces, which will be used as the game board, storage for pieces, and housing for he circuitry. The technical drawings are included below. Then, print the game pieces. All the STL files are attached.
Start Soldering
Solder your Arduino Nano, potentiometer, resistor, switch, and charging module into your circuitboard. Wire and solder them as shown above. Wire the charging module into the battery, and into the switch and ground.
Solder the LCD
Before soldering the LCD in, run the wires for it to where they will need to go on your circuitboard. Wire these wires into the Nano as shown above. Then, wire and solder in the LCD. It should look like the picture above.
Programming
Upload your Arduino with the code attached.

Assemble
Place the LCD in the opening for it, mount it by drilled two holes in the housing where the mounting holes on the LCD line up, and screw it in. Then place the back panel on the housing and screw it in. Finally, snap the lid in place in the hinges, and put your pieces in it.
