After seeing some pictures of Exo cars I started making a model.I tried to make the xtegra.

This is the first exoskeleton paper model over the internet.

Supplies

You only need 5 materials for making this car:

1.) Paper

2.) German Glue

3.) Bottle caps x4

4.) Drinking straws x2

5.) Shashlik Sticks x2

Chassis

I started by making long pipes of paper by rolling them and then glued their ends using German glue.I made 20 pipes and let them dry.

After they dried i cut the ends of these about 1 inch because they were soft and had no strength.

Then i cut out the base out of a paper and started pasting these pipes by cutting them with a paper cutter.

Wheel Base+Front Skeleton

After i created the base i glued a straw in the rear, added exhausts, and front skeleton.you should glue a straw in the front too.i didn't and ended up with a lot of problems in the front. Remember use German glue as it is hard when dried.I completed each step in one day.

To make exhausts i used 2 different sized straws and then coloured them with a silver marker after fitting them together.

Engine and Radiator

sorry for the pic

The radiator was made by the method of the folding paper fan and then pasting a pencil eraser.

the engine was just a box on which i glued random stuff.

Wind Screen

photo0068.jpg

i painted the wheels, made a hole, and a made a stick stuck in it. put the axle in the straw and put the other wheel on the axle.

for the wind screen i folded the paper pipe and glued the first side, after it dried i glued the other side and to hold it there i used a peg.

the rear skeleton was also made by the same method.

Rear Frame

Now I did the same thing for the rear.

Rear Skeleton

Now I made the rear skeleton and tried to fix the front wheels which could steer but I failed. The front was a huge problem.

Spoiler

You can make any of the spoilers if you want but it didn't look good on my car so i didn't put it.

Final Step Lights

This day I glued a vertical bar in the rear and glued some pieces of cardboard as lights.

now paint it any colour you like.

don't drive it over 1km/h or it will crash.drive safe.
