INVESALIUS
Invesalius acquires the 3d model to Tac and / or MRIs with four simple steps :
1- Import DICOM images
2- Select region of interest ( in this case compact adult bone)
3- Create 3d surface
4- Export image (JPEG) or 3D model ( STL )
MESHLAB
We import the 3D model MeshLab to eliminate the parts that we feel superfluous .
BLENDER
With Blender we can further refine the 3D model , such as reducing the number of faces and smooth .
I just used SCULPT MODE but you can use modifiers such as SUBDIVISION SURFACE.
NETFABB
With Netfabb make sure that the model is without error and proceed to the 3d print ...
3D PRINT
The finished product.
