Extreme Airsoft Pen Gun

In this EASY instructable, I'll show you how to make a super cool bb pen gun with just a few items.

Here's what you'll need -

• A white board marker pen
• A regular pen with an internal diameter of 6mm (Stabilo Point 88)
• Barbecue lighter
• Rubbing alcohol or Isopropyl alcohol
• and some miscellaneous tools and items that will be discussed in each step.

Even though I've called this project 'safe to use indoors' , use the proper safety equipment and have a fire extinguisher handy if possible. Find yourself a white board marker pen.

Next, you'll need to take the pen apart using a pair of pliers.

We'll use this piece as a blast chamber. (Picture 2)

and this piece will become the muzzle. (Picture 3)

Find a barbecue lighter and remove the igniter from inside.

Then find a drill bit that matches the diameter of the igniter and drill a hole at the back of the blast chamber.

Heat up a small screwdriver or nail and pierce a hole at the back of the blast chamber like this.

Cut the wires on the igniter to about half an inch and then insert the igniter, with the bottom wire, into the hole you drilled earlier.

Push the other wire through the smaller hole that you made and use hot glue to hold everything together and create a tight seal.

Wrap the blast chamber in electrical tape or paint it to give it a custom look.

Find a pen with an internal diameter of 6 millimeters.

Cut off the ends and remove the ink cartridge.

This will be the barrel of the pen gun

Grab the muzzle piece and drill out the front to make a hole big enough to accommodate the barrel.

Apply some hot glue on both ends to hold it in place and give it a tight seal.

You might want to wrap the muzzle in electrical tape to match the blast chamber. Of course, this step is optional.

To load your pen gun, dip a cotton bud in some rubbing alcohol and apply it to the inside of the blast chamber.

All you need to do now is load a bb into the back of the barrel.

Then assemble your pen gun and then press the igniter to fire!
