Candy Corn Cupcake
Mix your cake batter according to box. Seperate the batter into two bowls. Dye one bowl of batter orange, and the other yellow. Then spoon the batter into the cupcake pan with wrappers. Fill it half full of yellow, and half full with orange. Then bake according to box, and let cool. Decorate the cupcakes with vanilla icing and put a candy corn on top.
Mummy and Candy Pumpkin Cupcake
Bake cake mix according to box, then let cool. Decorate the mummy with vanilla icing in a cake decorator bag with flat tip, and I used a gummy cut in half for his eyes. The other cupcake is green dyed frosting with a candy pumpkin on top.
Skull Head Cupcake
I bought an ice cube mold from the dollar tree that was a skull, and thought I would try it out with making chocolates. Melt your white chocolate, and get red dye out. I dipped a tooth pick in the white chocolate and then in red dye and spread it on the top of the skull to look like blood. Then I place a gummy for a brain on the inside of the skull, and finished filling the skull with the melted white chocolate. I placed it in the fridge to cool, and then removed it and placed it on top of an iced cupcake. I think the skull would look better with dark eyes, so you could try the same technique that you did for the blood but dip the chocolate in black dye and spread it on the eyes before filling it up with white chocolate. Also once you get the mold full tap it on the counter so that air bubbles will come to the top of the mold.
