Falling Through a Hole Optical Illusion

I will teach you how to create an optical illusion that makes you feel like your feel like your falling through a hole. You can just take it to one of your friends and tell them to look at the shape. This is something that you can create in a short amount of time.

Pencil, Ruler, a piece of copy paper, 2 colored pencils of your choice, and a pencil sharpener (just in case)

You need to grab the materials and think of a shape to make (choosing a star is the easiest.) The shape can be any size it doesn’t matter.

Put the shape anywhere on the paper that is going to be the bottom of the hole. Next put a put a little dash on each line 2 or 3 then take the ruler and draw a line going all the way to the end of the page (make sure it is straight). Make the spacing based on how big the shape is.

Next you make a line in each one of the sections making the shape again start off small so that then it becomes bigger each time.

Next you need to color in the boxes switching color for each box then the next line you can make the colors different than, it was last time.

Finally take it to a family member and tell them to look straight at the shape then ask them what they felt after a while. They should say I feel like i’m falling through a hole if so you created it correctly.
