These shoe clips are a decortaive accessory made from the bottom of plastic bottles

Cutting the Plastic Bottle

First, find a couple of platic bottles and after washing and cleaning them, cut the bottoms off by pressing the bottle inward and cutting at the seam.

More Cutting, Shaping Really ;)

Now, cut again, diagonally and then horizontally along the plastic bottle bootom. What should be left is a flower shape.

This is the correct shape

Decorate!

Now you are ready to decorate! I have used paint and vintage buttons, but really, you could use all sorts of things: glitter, decoupage, fabric, what ever!

Glue on the Clip

Once you have decorated, you are ready to glue on your clip.
I use clips intended for clip on earrings, so they will not harm your shoe or clothes.

I have not found a superglue yet that will adhere metal to plastic without quickly falling apart, so I put a tiny little piece of fabric between the clip and the plastic bottom to ensure it is secure.

Your Finished!

And that's it, you now have a really rad, new, upcycled accessory!
