So you love club juggling, but you hate how after a while the knobs of your clubs always start to twist? And those screws in the knobs, the cut your hands? Here's an easy fix: shoe goo. Knobs fixed to clubs with shoe goo stay fixed.

Shoe goo is a liquid rubber type goo that'll glue the knob to the club handle really strongly and that will not get brittle over time like glues do. It's available in most skate shops.

The Things You'll Need

For this instructable you'll need your juggling clubs, shoe goo, and a screwdriver. Make sure you pick a screwdriver of the proper type to go with the screws in your club. If you look at the screw on the photo closely you'll see small lines between the grooves in the screwhead. This shows that I need a pozidriv type screwdriver. If there are no small lines and the grooves look like a cross, you need a philipshead.

Remove the Knobs From the Clubs

Just unscrew them using the carefully selected screwdriver. You can throw the screws away if you like.

Reattach With Shoe Goo

Pour some shoe goo in the knobs and re-fit them on the clubs. When you push them back on the clubs a little shoe goo will flow through the screw hole. Wipe this nice and flat with something with a straight edge. I used a bit of cardboard from the box the clubs were shipped in. Clean up any excess goo with a paper towel.

Wait

Let it settle for at least 24 hours, but I normally wait 48 just to be sure.
