Fix a Pierced Ball

If you have ever had a pierced ball, whether it is from a thorn, a nail, or whatever it may be, you can understand the reluctance of having  to pay for a new one. This instructable aims to fix that problem.

- Tape
- Ball pump
-Syringe
- Multi-purpose fast drying contact cement

Carefully remove the needle, and fill the syringe with the adhesive. Then re-mount the needle.

Once you have found the area where the ball has been pierced, insert the needle, and firmly inject a fair amount of adhesive into the ball.

Now that you have finished injecting the adhesive, use the pump to re-inflate the ball. Then place tape over the place where you injected the adhesive.(Once you have inflated the ball, the air pressure inside the ball will push the adhesive into the pierced area of the ball. The tape is placed over the hole in order to keep too much of the glue from passing through the hole, and make the surface of the ball not smooth.) Let the glue set for a little while, and then it should be ready to play with.
