In this instructable i'm going to show you how to make a flap sander!

Step 1: Tools

The tools you are going to need for this project are: a drill, a piece of sandpaper (gritsize doesn't matter but if you use sandpaper from a belt sander it will work better), a haksaw, a piece of scrap wood, a drill bit to drill circles, some glue (i used hobby glue) and a file.

Step 2: Drill

Drill out two circles out of some wood and glue the together. I let the drill bit rest in the two things so the circles line up better.

Step 3: Sawing

As manny as you want. Next i used a haksaw to saw gabs for the sand paper to

Cut a few straps of sandpaper (if you use sandpaper from a belt from a belt sander it doesn't wear out as fast as normal sand paper and remain stiff) and glue them into the gaps. And you're done! If you want to put it in your drill you need to secure a bolt on it. I'm leaving it like this so i can put it on my router table that i will show you in another project
