Flashing Cloud

The projector ignore the colour if it is black, this is the basic way that the projection mapping art is. The cloud is bascially made by a plastic bag :> and the animation is based on a swf file which uses Adobe FLASH CS5 to create a simple "rainbow colour" animation.

Step 1. Prepare an projector, a laptop PC and a plastic bag.

Step 2. Hang the plastic bag under the ceiling.

Step 3. Set up the projector that lights directly on the plastic bag (so called "cloud").

Step 4. Use Adobe FLASH CS5 to create a simple "rainbow colour" animation

Create a new fla file. There are four layouts, from the bottle to the top, which are:

1. Background, where the colour is black; The projector ignore the colour if it is black, this is the basic way that the projection mapping art is.

2. Animation clip: The size needs to march the cloud, which the animation that changes rainbow colour frequently. You can make what even the animation clip is.

3. Mask layout, that the sharp is marched to of the plastic bag.

4. Sound: You can download "thunder" (wav format) from the Internet (i.e. find it by yourself)

After that, produce swf file.

Step 5. Go back to Step 4 and charge the size and position of the mask layout, in order to fit the size and position of the cloud that hangs under the ceiling. This takes time so please be patient.
