Floor Cleaning Robot

Picture 22.jpg
Okay I would like to start out by saying that this is my very first instructable so it may not be very good.
The Robot is designed to go in a straight line to clean your floor.
It has no turning system and you will need to know how to wire a motor with a switch (there is probably and instructable for that)
Sorry I could not find the right wiring diagrams  to add to the instructable at the end :-(

What you will need:
2 Sponges
craft sticks
hot glue
motor and power supply - i got both of these out of an RC car. (they need to be very powerful)
soap
water
cable box or an old VCR-you will just need the top or bottom
wheels
a plastic container - water bottles do good*
wire
tubes or pipes
Light switch

Tools needed
Screw Drivers
Drill
Drill Bits
hot glue gun
knife

Other Stuff you might need
An RC car

If you are Using an rc car you will oly need the motor and wheels.  You could use the whol circut if you want the robot to be RC controled.

Building the Base and Wheels

The base is very simple.  All you need to do is follow the pictures.  If that does not help then I have made steps here:

1.  Start by taping the edges of the cable box. (They are usaly very sharp this is not required though) Do not use tape to cover all of the holes.

2. Take your wheels see if they fit under the cable box.  If they do not you will need to take a craft stick and glue it on the wheels. (*As shown in Picture #2*) Hot Glue works well for this. using two craft sticks will make the wheels fell much Stromger and they will not wobble as much ( I Advise doing this anyway because it make step 3 easier)

3.  Take the cable box and the wheels.  Put Some hot glue on the top of the craft stick and stick it on the Back of the cable box.
